Hey Im from toronto. Recently I got into an accident with my Acura and I hit a BMW. I have no insurance.?

The person was taking a left on a yellow light and I was driving at 60. Soon as i seen the light turn yellow, I was too close to brake my car would have not stopped in time.Therefore I sped up to cross the light. This BMW was in the middle of taking its left turn.I could not see the other lanes because it was busy. I swerved away from him and hit him in the back. My front right of the car was totaled and my air bags popped out. The BMW had damage to the back as well and fluids leaking. The problem here is I was in the process of changing my insurance and did not have insurace at this time. How do I go about solving this issue.Their insurance company has send me a letter for a claim already. If anyone knows how to deal with this situation and thinks they can help me, please let me know. I have a very overprotective mother and its waay to annoying. There is a fine like between loving and over doing it, and she over does it. I can barely hang out with my friends or cousins or hang out in general because we always get into arguments about me going out. I am 16 years old but i live in the city and that's a safe place to hang out, i dint do no drugs at all and never tried and im doing very well in school. Idk why she acts like that but we just end up in constant fights when i want to go do something, yeah i get back pretty late maybe around 12 or 1 in the morning but i give her constant updates if im going to get on the train and when i get out of the train. I am also with a group of people and not on my own with my gf or anything. I really dont know what to do and its getting to a point where if i had a chance i would move out in an instant but i dont because i do want to go to college and finish high school. alright so i am a 21 yr old male. i have two scales. one digital and ogue or dial scale. i use them ot weigh myself. alright the digital scale which is a taylor lithium gives me 293 as my weight and the dial scale gives me 300 exact. it confuses me. which one do you think is the more accurate scale. and one mor thing ive been trying to lose weight recently. so i need approx 3500 to 4000 cals a day ot maintain my weight probably a little more, alright so i eat approx 2000 cals a day with excersise. since ive been doing this my digital scale says somedays that ive lost 2 to 3.5 pounds some days. is this possible?

Betta and apple snail in a .5 Gallon tank?

I have one betta fish and an apple snail that i just introduced to a .5gallon starter tank. My betta fish is pretty cranky (he flares a lot) but i did some research and i've been told that they would be ok together. I have been working for walgreens for a year & a month now. I am very tired of the unfair scheduling. How to get noticed for College Soccer?

I am in my junior year of high school and would like to play D-1 or D-2 soccer. I played travel for 4 years on an Olympic division team and gave it up. Now I have been focusing on my High School team and have done very well as a center mid-fielder, scoring 13 goals in 16 games and being in the top ten for goal scorers in the county. Now I go to a small school in a weak division but I can say not a single goal i scored was cheap, 10 out of 13 goals came from shots outside the 18. What I am trying to say is that my stats are not inflated from playing on a small school team and in a weak league (compared to large public school), my team actually missed the playoffs. i have been on zoloft for six years now. up intill the past month i have been fine. within the last month i have had confusion. I thought that when you ANSWER in the etiquette section, you teach or help the questioner to be polite in a certain situation. It's ironic how I ask questions in this section & receive so many harsh insults & rudeness.

i think your list is pretty good :) perhaps you just need to eat more on a regular basis, like carbs (bread, rice, potatoes, bagels) and it really helps if you like to eat. you can have more variety of fruits (pineapple, watermelon, berries, oranges). and lettuce for sandwiches? but cooking is definitely better than microwaving especially if you want to be healthy takes about 15-20 minutes for a simple meal. but if you don't have time, i guess that's the best you can do. good luck!

IMO the trade boils down to you getting Marion Barber and David Garrard for 3 chumps. I don't have any faith that Campbell will be an all that great fantasy option. I have been on birth control pills since October of 2004. 2 months ago I decided to get off of them because I believe I have gained weight while being on them, and I just don't like the way I feel while taking them. Okay, well I'm 14 and in 9th grade, just puttin that out there. Back in 7th grade and the beginning of 8th, I had some bad acne. Not just bad, more like horrible. I guess my dad saw my suffering, and he bought me this facial cleanser which did actually end up helping. The bad part was that I had a reaction or something to it later on, because a few weeks after I started using it most of the skin on my face became red, itchy and inflamed. So I completely stopped with that one and my mom bought me a different one which was fine for awhile. And now, about two years later I really don't have much acne. Maybe a tiny bit. But someitmes it seems like a lot more because of all these scars! Sure, I got rid of my horrible Jr. high acne, but now i have scars on my cheeks. Sometimes they aren';t that noticeable, but someitmes they just annoy me!And I've pretty much been through a million different cleansers in the past few years, none of them being that great. I'm just really frustrated with this and kind of want to get rid of it. Suggestions?

The lady that I nanny for won't throw away her daughter's recalled toys. She keeps saying she is "meaning" to do it, but doesn't have the time, and I know for a fact that she DOES have time. I even went through all of her stuff and separated everything that was recalled into separate boxes so that she could just easily get rid of it. I brought all of her huge Dora doll houses downstairs so that it would make a few less things that they would have to haul down the stairs, and they will have been sitting down here for at least 2 weeks. Also, they don't restrict her from playing with these things when I'm not here to tell her that they are bad, and she is only four, so she doesn't always remember what I say after I've left here. However I work in a building with large gl doors and we always have black birds fly inside the building which we then have to catch and release. Guess what? Last night I used a Vanilla Visa Gift Card given to me as a gift to purchase 3 DVDs from Barnes & Noble's website. Now, I have done the research and have seen that some gift cards can be problematic while trying to shop online, specifically the Vanilla Visa because you can only register it with your zip code, and not your full address. Consequently, I have seen many other post that for this reasons, their orders have been rejected. My question is: I used the gift card, the order went through, I got an email confirming my order, and then 20 minutes later got another e-mail saying my order was prepared to ship. Would I have known very quickly if the card was denied and my order nullified? It has been about 16-17 hours and the order status on B&N's website has not changed, just lists details, etc. I have called their phone service and it has not yet shipped, but like I said I got an e-mail saying it was ready to ship. it just takes time, just think that you will be fine in the end you just have to know that it will take a while to get over it and find a way to get where you want to be. and also talkin to your mates helps as then you can plan what to do next and stuff. eg write a letter explaining your determination to do this course, show you are determined (though tutor don't sound very supportive!) or try another school/college. Even if that doesnt work, what i'm trying to say is that even though this setback has really got to you, you will get over it in time, it wont be bad forever - you will be happy again.

Now, the co-op board has decided to create a policy, which requires anyone with a cat to carry their bags of used litter to a dumpster about three-fourths of a mile away. Those are all good schools, although UVA and UNC-Chapel Hill are hard to get into if you're from out-of-state. Depending on how far you want to travel, some other schools to consider are Indiana, Wisconsin-Madison, Notre Dame (although not much of a bar scene there), Maryland-College Park, Duke and Wake Forest. Wake is smaller than your 7,000 student limit, but they have Division I sports, a lovely campus and a friendly atmosphere. If you're planning to visit UNC, you could easily visit Wake, Duke and N.C. State on same trip because they're fairly close together.

Iv never been superstitious but two years ago I was a happy person with friends and a boyfriend and everything then I moved away for college to a town I hate since moving there I moved in with people who where horrible to me for the entire year and I developed really bad social anxiety and couldn't leave my house, iv lost all my friends, my ex broke up with me, I failed a year of college and am repeating, my mother had a brain haemorrhage, (shes ok now) but shes been out of work so theres been no money so iv been trying to survive and pay for things I need for college on €50 a week. My grandad went into hospital and now a bleed was found in my auntys brain. shouldn't be a focus point in a relationship. I'm 16, and had done stuff and never felt comfortable until I had a longer relationship which I'm still in at the moment. I have a best friend. I know that we're really close. And so, many people see us as more than being just best friends. This doesn't really bother me however, i am fully aware that my best friend has someone else and the complications of this matter in a way, damages my 'image'. So last year, when I was a freshman in college I met a guy. And of course I liked him, but he said he wasn't attracted to me. Even though he did say that he always flirted etc. I am very pessimistic about human nature and extremely paranoid. So I would always ask if I was bothering him and everything nice he said I umed it was a lie. Not a bad subject to think about and try to write about but a lot of your lines seem dated, almost cliched. To me, this is like writing a love poem and competing with the millions of love poems in existence. Unless it is fresh, original, etc., the reader, at least me, will probably just move on. I did like the reference to the 1001 Saints (why the number) and their eyes (blank, fiery, etc.,) That to me would be something to work with.

How long is the progression of Hyperthyroidism?

I went to the ER on 1-1-09 because I woke up with my pulse racing and I couldn't breath. i was diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism and admitted. The indoc. came and spoke to me briefly, I was so wigged out, and didn't ask questions. She put me on methimazole and told me to see her in 4 weeks. I developed a rash and she squeezed me in to look at it. She told me to immediatly stop the meds and she would set up the uptake and the radioiodine treatment in one week. Then left. I tried to tell her I've been having weird rashes for several months and I didn't think it was because the medicine, but she didn't care. I understand that with medicine allergies you shouldn't take chances, but felt we were skipping the first option very quickly. I'll try to run this down quickly...2004 after tubal and off the pill I started having long irredgulat periods and severe ovulation pains. GYN did tests and said no problems. Also told me the severe pains in my low pelic area was constipation. I didn't agree. After about 2 years my periods became a little more regular, but still were very different... Late december I started having sore throats that would last for weeks. The Doc couldn't see anything. The pain was very low, right where I just recently discovered my Thyroid is. I would also have pain like something was pushing on the muscles in my neck. It would only last a few seconds but it really hurt. In Late 2006 I started having terrible neck pain. General doctor had neck MRI and saw nothing. Sent me to PT and I enjoyed the neck mages, but didn't help. I also was getting sharp pains that when I would bend over would shoot from the back of my skull through my head to my temple. So painful it actually made me cuss! I also was having clogged ears and pain. I went to the ENT and he could find no reason for the pain and no signs of allergies. He did however feel a lump on my thyroid. They did an ultrasound and said there was a cyst, but it was nothing to worry about. I do not think they did bloodwork. In march 2007 I got Shingles really bad. After that I really started getting bad. I got a very fine smooth red rash all over my body. It would get worse and then better and then worse again. I also started having dizzy spells that would make me fall. The doctor gave me antidepressants. I switched doctors. Soon after this, I started having severe abdominal pains that sent me to the emergency room many times. They did cat scans and could not see anything. Over the next several months I had colonoscopy, they looked in my stomach. I had ultrasounds on all my organs in my abdomin, chest xrays, everything. By fall, the new doctor gave me anti depressents. I decided to go on my own to see a therapist. After 12 sessions she told me that she belived my problems were definaly physical. I forgot to mention that my regular MD did give my a thyroid test and said it was fine. I don't know what test she ran. I just kept getting worse and had so much pain. I cut back my work to only two days a week. a friend referred me to a doctor that is a chronic illness and Lyme disease specalist. She is an MD and can perscribe meds, but also treats a lot of things with special supplements. First doc to spend 4 hours looking over tests and doing a full medical history. Drew 42 vials of blood and ran special tests that regular medical community doesn't use. Results: Strep that traveled to my brain probably from childhood. Parvo virus, whopping cough, Bartanella (cat scrach fever) fibromyalgia, Lyme, vascullitus, and I don't even know what else. Also many low vitamins. I decided that no one else was helping me, and she spent the time to get my history. Looked at all my previous test results. I had to put my faith in her. I believe she also did thyroid test and it was ok. I spent the next 10 months on supplements and hi doses of Antibiotics for long periods of time. She warned me that it was going to be difficult and a long road, but I would be able to get better, maybe better than I have been my whole life. Several months ago I started losing my hair, hard time breathing, shaking, unable to form sentences correctly. I was told these were from the bartonella and all the rashes were from the bacteria dying off. Now I know that is was the thyroid. So after this long story... Could my Hyperthyroidim have been developing for all these years and just really kicked in the last six months?

Exactly. Mental health isn't looked into enough here. I know a woman who does art cles with people in Mountjoy and she says most of the prisoners have obvious problems with their mental health and shouldn't be in prison in the first place! Nothing is done to help people with mental illnesses!

How to deal with this at work?!?

Guy I work with is on long term sick for a mental illness, he will be coming back I think. Anyway, for ages before he was signed off/diagnosed etc.. he would rub himself on me if I was bent over doing something and didn't know he was there, try and "accidently" grab my hand and nearly put it on his crotch, him putting it there, not me. Once accidently rubbing past my really, really slowly on purpose.He would always be talking about killing people, etc.. What should I do if he starts again after coming back?? I'm hoping the time off and proper esments/medicines etc may help. My boss knows that he used to do this before she started but she gets the impression that it stopped, she thinks I'm quite weak and not ertive enough (true!) so i couldn't tell her he still sometimes did it coz I know that she will get pissy with me for not standing up to him, but it can be embaring to say stuff. When I asked him not to do it once he just said that I wan't it really and that all men love a slag!! Which I'm not!! I just wear jeans, t-shirts to work so I am not leading him on by any means. My mom is negative, how do I handle everything?

The only thing you can do is be honest with her. But do you get caught in that negative web with her? I know its hard but you need to not agree with her when she goes on and on. Keep pointing out the positive. But be honest with her. Let her know she needs to fill her time and she should try volunteering somewhere or babysitting. In the end if you don't help her she will wind up all alone and you don't want that but no one wants to be around such a negative person.

What should I do if I think my neighbors deal illegal drugs?

Basically the house to our left has been emptied and filled multiple times in the past couple years but this time they're staying. My parents and I are 99.9% they're doing/dealing something. My question is what type of evidence must you have to call the local police department on suspicion (spelled wrong) of drugs? We can't just call them and say "hey our neighbors are rowdy they're on something!" Our neighbors are odd. I've seen atleast 20 vehicles pull into there driveway (only far enough so their rear-end doesn't get hit by traffic) honk the horn, someone comes outside, they go up to car window, and the car leaves. This happens ALOT. They also keep a "guard" dog chained up outside in their driveway so people can see it maybe? They also get into LOTS of fights in their front lawn with different people every time. What do we have to hear/see in order to take action? P.S. The Popos show up about once a month for random things. (Fire, dismestic disturbance) to name a few.
