Any advice on Singapore?

Its quite safe for a single women to stay in Singapore and just take note that you have to stay away places like Geylang, Little India and Joo Chiat Area at night, as well as some other remote areas too, like Australia and anywhere else in the world. For cheap and good hostels, visit Summer Tavern at Clarke Quay: a href="http://www.summertavern.com/2nd/about.html." rel="nofollow"http://www.summertavern.com/2nd/about.ht…/a You can also visit Bencoolen St for many cheap hostels in Singapore. You can also go to Fragrance Hotel at Balestier Rd for cheap and good stay by visiting: a href="http://www.summertavern.com/2nd/about.html" rel="nofollow"http://www.summertavern.com/2nd/about.ht…/a and choose one of the hotel as its a budget chain hotel like Travelodge or Ibis hotel overseas. There are still quite a lot cheap hostels in Singapore and you can hunt around yourself too. As for attractions, there are many are you visit museums, zoo, world renown night safari, bird park, Singapore Discovery Center, Sentosa etc and more info can be found at: a href="http://www.visitsingapore.com/publish/stbportal/au/home.html." rel="nofollow"http://www.visitsingapore.com/publish/st…/a You can have cheap meals at hawker ctr & food courts at shopping ctr. Drinks wise is exotic and easy to find, Singapore tap water is safe to drink for many places and beware of dirty public toilets. For toilets, head to shopping ctr and attractions for cleaner toilet. Be forewarn that many toilets charge a minimal fee of S$0.10-0.20 (A$0.10-0.20) per visit per person. As for other info, don't worry as Singaporeans speak good english, you can always seek help from others. If you are afraid of speaking to male, you can always find a female to enquiry with. Things here are inexpensive as compared to Australia and even cheaper than UK, so you won't need to afraid of breaking your bank because of expensive stays in Singapore. Anyway, have fun in Singapore then and Welcome u here (Have a pleasant stay then).
