Hey Im from toronto. Recently I got into an accident with my Acura and I hit a BMW. I have no insurance.?

The person was taking a left on a yellow light and I was driving at 60. Soon as i seen the light turn yellow, I was too close to brake my car would have not stopped in time.Therefore I sped up to cross the light. This BMW was in the middle of taking its left turn.I could not see the other lanes because it was busy. I swerved away from him and hit him in the back. My front right of the car was totaled and my air bags popped out. The BMW had damage to the back as well and fluids leaking. The problem here is I was in the process of changing my insurance and did not have insurace at this time. How do I go about solving this issue.Their insurance company has send me a letter for a claim already. If anyone knows how to deal with this situation and thinks they can help me, please let me know. As far as Im concerned, I was not at fault here, but i am not sure whether he is at fault as well. Any anwsers will be welcome.Thank you.
