98' Mitsubishi Mirage will NOT p CA smog test, any suggestions?

Everything pes just fine except for the computer part, I was told last time to drive 20 miles, bring it back, don;t turn it off, and it should be fine. I drove 50 since I had done this before and it still doesn't help. I need to register my car again but now need the smog check at a test only station. Any suggestions? Or at least a place I can goto in the Los Angeles area where I can just pay someone off to p my test because this is a load of BS if you ask me.
