My mom is negative, how do I handle everything?

The only thing you can do is be honest with her. But do you get caught in that negative web with her? I know its hard but you need to not agree with her when she goes on and on. Keep pointing out the positive. But be honest with her. Let her know she needs to fill her time and she should try volunteering somewhere or babysitting. In the end if you don't help her she will wind up all alone and you don't want that but no one wants to be around such a negative person.
