What is the truth??

I have a best friend. I know that we're really close. And so, many people see us as more than being just best friends. This doesn't really bother me however, i am fully aware that my best friend has someone else and the complications of this matter in a way, damages my 'image'. My best friend once admitted to have special feelings for me but i have not taken a great deal about it. I do not know whether it's the truth or just some kind of joke. haha. My best friend often tells me that he loves me and he cares but I really don't take them seriously. I'm just not the type to believe these things and this causes most of our petty quarrels. Well, my best friend easily becomes jealous and so do I. Rest ured we are best friends. Complicated right?
