Is this an Omen or a coicidence?

On January 24 I saw a guy I had a crush on kiss this girl, thus hurting my feelings severely. Then on Feburary 24, these girls started picking on me because I didn't like his girlfriend. They made fun of me for crying all the time. I used to be friends with the guy, but because his girlfriend made me feel uncomfortable, upset with me on the feb 24.
